Returns
You can return your online order within 28 days for a full refund.
Our returns policy excludes items outside the 28-day window, used items, products not in their original packaging, bespoke items, and those purchased from the Outlet section or sample sales. £4 will be deducted from the refund to cover postage.
Request a return via your account: Log in and click the Orders tab. Select the order number* and click ‘Request Return’. You will then be able to select a reason and tick the items you wish to return. Submit your request.
If you don’t have an account, go to our Returns page and enter your order number and the email address you entered at checkout in the fields below.
Get a QR code/print your label: We will manually approve your request within one working day. At that point, you will receive an email containing a link to our carrier to generate a QR code, a printable label, and select your nearest DPD drop-off point.
Return your parcel: Take it to your local DPD service point and retain your posting receipt, as it will contain tracking information.
*orders made outside of the 28-day window will not be eligible for return.

You will be refunded in full to your original form of payment, excluding the cost of delivery except where otherwise required by law, and £4 to cover the DPD return postage label.
If you received any promotional or other discount when you paid, any refund will only reflect the amount you actually paid. Please note, bespoke and items from the Outlet section or Sample Sales are final sale.

We process returns within five working days of receipt at our warehouse. The money can take several days to appear on your original payment method, depending on your provider.
Just email contact@dowsingandreynolds.com with your order number and the nature of the fault and we’ll be in touch to sort it out.
From March 1st 2025 the warranty period on all goods except light bulbs is two years. If your product develops a fault within that time, email contact@dowsingandreynolds.com and we will arrange to have the product tested and replaced or repaired depending on the nature of the fault.
We do not provide refunds on faulty items outside of the original 28 days from purchase, and you must be the original purchaser of the products. We will require the email address linked to the order to proceed with the warranty claim.
Custom-made, Clearance Outlet and Sample Sale items are be non-returnable.
Delivery
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday will be shipped same day except where it contains a backorder/pre-order or made to order item.
If you choose:
DPD Express £6.99 (£10.99 Saturday), your package will arrive the next day.
DPD Economy £3.99, allow 3-5 working days.
Whichever method you choose, you will receive tracking details in your order dispatch notification email.
Products that are on backorder/pre-order will give an indication of when we’re expecting stock both on the individual product page, and when you add it to your basket. If you’d like to receive the in stock items sooner, please email contact@dowsingandreynolds.com with your order number and request and we’ll sort that out.
Made to order items typically have a 3-5 working day dispatch time but this can vary so please check individual product pages for exact details.
We ship most, but not all of our products overseas – the restrictions mostly apply to electrical items and some foliage. Where restrictions on international shipping do apply, the finer details section of the product’s page will have the information.
We’re not currently shipping to EU countries.
Outside the EU, Please allow 5-7 working days.
All of our electrical products including switches, sockets and light fittings are only suitable for countries where the mains supply is between 220 and 240 volts. If you’re unsure, check with an electrician.

Orders
You can view the order status on your Dowsing & Reynolds Account page, which will be updated after your order is placed and again once your order ships.
If you have received an email notification that your order has been dispatched, you can find DPD tracking details in that email.
We give a general indication of when we’re expecting stock to arrive on the individual product pages once we know the items have been dispatched from our suppliers.
Unfortunately, we can’t be any more specific than this as many component parts come from overseas and are subject to delays outside of our control.
If an item is on pre-order or backorder, we will ship it as soon as it becomes available. If you’d like part of your order to be sent separately, email us contact@dowsingandreynolds.com and we’ll get that sorted.

During the month of April 2025, you can use the code APRILFREEDEL at checkout to get free delivery on any order (UK only). The promotion is running from 9am Tuesday 1st April to 5pm Wednesday 30th April.
Unfortunately, due to significant misuse, we no longer give discounts to Blue Light card holders.

No, not all elements of the chandelier are bulbs. If you check the finer details tab of the individual product detail page, you’ll find the exact bulb count and a breakdown of how the chandelier is assembled.
Yes we do sell replacement baubles for our bubble chandeliers.
Yes, many of our light fittings can be adjusted.
Extend: Purchase your fitting, then contact us with your order number and the additional drop. We’ll adjust the cable length and provide a payment link.
Shorten: Loosen the wire grip in the ceiling rose, pull the cable to the desired length, and store excess in the ceiling cavity. Do not cut the cable—this voids the warranty.

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Clearpay. We do not accept cheques.
Trade account holders have the option to check out via Proforma invoice and pay by BACS.
To redeem your gift card, locate the Click Here To Enter Gift Card link at checkout, and enter the unique code included in your gift card email. If the gift card amount is less than your order total, you’ll also need to add an additional payment method to cover the remaining balance for the order. If your gift card has a remaining balance after your order is placed, you can use that amount on your next order.
